The Right Question

right question

If your daughter tells you that she answered 100 questions right on a test, what should you say? What is the right question to ask?

The wise parent asks how many questions were on the test.

The same logic applies to IT asset disposition. What’s missing is what matters.

Without independent verification, management will receive heavily distorted information, if any.

Executives need to be non-credulous when it comes to ITAD reporting. Employees tend to report self-serving interpretations, especially when facts could make them look bad.

The issue is compliance and risk management, not grade inflation.

Ask the right question. Of course, you might not like the answer. However, it is far better to be told what you need to hear, not just what you want.

If there is anything I can do to serve you, please say the word.
