How big does my company have to be?
Retire-IT provides services to organizations of any size. We can handle a single server in San Francisco, or one thousand laptops in Laredo.
How does Retire-IT guarantee quality?
Quality is our business. Retire-IT works with R2 and eStewards certified partners who follow industry best practices. We qualify each partner’s processes and continuously monitor their performance. We employ rigorous statistical process control to provide an advanced warning of potential quality problems. Clients are always encouraged to visit facilities to inspect the process firsthand.
What do I do about data on my hard drives?
Retire-IT guarantees that all data and software are removed from all electronic media. Hard drive erasure procedures adhere to NIST standards. Inoperable hard drives are physically destroyed. Onsite destruction and certified data destruction options are also available.
What does it cost?
We provide upfront proposals that show the cost and value recovery. If equipment has value, resale can often offset the cost or better. We pick up equipment from anywhere in the US and no minimum amount is required. There is a minimum charge to cover the pickup cost ($295, depending on location), and a small charge to cover equipment processing (starts at $5.25 per item). On the other side of the equation, Retire-IT returns value for resalable equipment. Each project is different. Many clients generate positive returns.
